Create Linked Issue does not honor target field configuration - Description hidden

Hello Community,
I researched my problem and it looks the opposite of most complaints. This does not seem to be https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-60483 or others which are opposite of my problem.
Our QA team asked we'd hide Description and replace it with a few fields more helpful to how they work. Create Issue works perfectly. The problem is the user experience when using Create Linked Issue from another project. The target project's field config hides Description but here it is displayed. The user submits the new issue assuming their original Desc will tell the story but that detail is lost.
What can we do? Thanks!
