Changing priority triggers a change in resolution

Mark de Vos August 10, 2016

Hi,

When changing the priority it triggers the resolution to be set on done. I have searched everywhere where this could be configured but did not find anything.

I am assuming this must be triggered in workflow below transistion properties however it happens on whatever status it is.

Is there another section where this may be configured in general?

It indeed was in the `edit` screen, didn´t notice the default value was always `done` there.

This solved it! you guys rock!

How are you changing the priority? By editing the issue? If so, is resolution on the "Edit" screen?

You should put resolution only on the screen used while resolving the issue.

If it happens during status transitions, there's a high chance it's because of some Workflow function. If the change is happening on editing issues, there must be a "listener" installed on your JIRA which reacts on "issue updated event".
