Can you make a global field mandatory for certain issue types

Hi,

We have a request to make a global field (fix version) mandatory for certain issues types.

Is this possible?

Yes, you need to do three things:

1. Create a field configuration where it you make fix version mandatory
2. Use that in a field configuration scheme to map it on to issue types
3. Apply the field configuration scheme to the project(s) where you need the field to be mandatory for that issue type.
