jira project import error from xml backup

Hello Team,

While importing the xml backup, I am getting the following error,

"The backup project 'Globale Bemusterung' requires custom field named 'issueFunction' with full key 'com.onresolve.jira.groovy.groovyrunner:jqlFunctionsCustomFieldType'. In the current instance of JIRA the plugin is at version '4.3.0', but this custom field was not installed in the backup data. You may want to create an XML backup with this version of the plugin installed. "

Please suggest.

Thanks!!!

You need to do what it says - install the add-on in the source data and then re-export the xml, so that it's the right content for the import.

@Nic Brough -Adaptavist- I have the same issue, I'm trying to migrate project from Cloud to Server, on Cloud the plugin is already installed "Jira Toolkit Plugin" and also I've installed it on Server, but still I get this error:

  • The backup project 'XXXX' requires custom field named 'Approvers' with full key 'com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.customfieldtypes:multiuserpicker'. In the current instance of JIRA the plugin is at version '1.0', but this custom field was not installed in the backup data. You may want to create an XML backup with this version of the plugin installed.

I'm not sure why you are worrying about the Toolkit app, the error message you have is that a custom field does not exist.

but also the error is saying that I do not have the plugin installed.

I've added the custom field on target instance but still I get error, I've followed this instruction to add the custom field. https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/add-a-new-custom-field-to-a-project/

and I've added all screen to it, btw the instance is completely empty just for import test purpose.
