Turning off email notification within appoval process in tempo

We use tempo timesheets for our time tracking.

When timesheets or vacation are submitted (approval process), emails are sent to the corresponding team lead.
Since we want to avoid this email flood, we would like to turn off the notification emails and instead build a dashboard to overview the ongoing approval processes.
Is this possible? Is it possible to turn off the notifications?

Other notifications, like the entry of a worklog at a certain issue, we want to keep.
