Trigger Automation When JIRA Issues is mentioned in Confluence

Hi Team,

I would like to know if there is an automation trigger when an issue is mentioned in Confluence?

The idea is that when the issue is mentioned, it would automatically be moved out of Backlog to In Progress.

@Guy Langlois great question. PM on Confluence Automation here. Cross-product rules like the one you've outlined above are at the very top of our list to add to Automation for Confluence & Jira. We're already working on plans to support the rule you outlined (and other cross-product rules like it) into the Atlassian automation platform, but we're still around 6 months out from having this live in product. We'll be sure to keep you posted when we ship cross-product rules for Automation!

I believe the new automation for Confluence would allow you do do that, it was mentioned during the Tips for using Team Calendar and & Confluence Premium webinar.

There is nothing in the Jira Automation suite that would provide this as an option.  The automation triggers listen for events in Jira and not Confluence.  Maybe a third party app like ScriptRunner might work but I am not even sure about that.
