Send Email With Automation for Unchecked Items in a Checkbox List

I am wondering if there is any way to send an email with all of the "Uncheked" items from a Checkbox List. Using the Smart Value {{issue."Checkbox Custom Field Name"}} only shows the items that are Checked. Is there a Smart Value to send the Unchecked Items?

Hi @Matt Steadman

One way to do that might be to call the REST API (using a web request from the rule) to get the field options, and then exclude ones which are selected from the issue's field.  You will probably need to use text functions, regular expressions, and created variables to do this.

Please note that calling the web request for this will definitely make the rule slower. (several seconds each call)

Best regards,

Bill

Hi @Matt Steadman ,

Can't think of way to do this if the list is unknown.

Even if it is known, the potential complexity of the solution may not be worth it.
