i was told to go to admin then issues then i would find workflow. i go to admin but don't see issues listed and i cannot find my previous workflow

Since you do not receive notification by email, then first thing that I would like to check is that may I know if you have setup the SMTP mail server? The related documentation should be the following:

If the SMTP mail server has been properly configured and that you can send a test email, then probably you can go to your User Profile (in the dashboard, you can see your full name on the right top of the screen, click on your name), and check the My Changes setting. If it is set to "Do not notify me", then can you kindly try to change it to "Notify Me", and see if it helps?
