Search for issues that do not contain text

I need a simple solution for a JQL

eg: 

issuetype = Bug AND text != Apple

the != operator is not supported with text search.

It will but only if the ticket doesn't already have a valid assignee. When you move, you also get the option to choose an assignee in that case, if I remember correctly.
