how to edit labels?

I labeled my issues with some label, but now I think I want to change the spelling of this label for all of them.
How to do that for all issues marked with this label?

Can you look at the atlassian-jira.log file? There must be some helpful error in that log file.

I am assuming one of the plugins, that provide workflow conditions/validators/post functions is either missing or not compatible with the new version.

They are warnings. Are you noticing this again when you get the communication error? Or is there some other error when you reproduce the issue?
