change workflow time to sla

Hi, 

We are using TTSLA, and when updating the workflow or renaming it TTSLA looses the workflow and I have to re-assign all the SLAs to the correct workflow, 

is there a best practice to keep it?

There is nothing you can do on the UI other than to manually modify the filters and ask others to do it. Replacing in text in DB might be an option but I am not an expert in it!

thanks. I'm starting to use the custom field id which will allow you to change to any name. Its not convenient in JQL, hopefully newer JIRA versions than my 4.2 solved for it.
