Hi Enquiry on creating an issue in one Jira On Demand instance and if the issue is transitioned the issue is then imported/created in another On Demand instance Is this possible? Thanks Regards Showkat

Can link a Jira On Demand instance with another Jira On Demand instance

I don't understand how this field works, i can't set any value ..

Hi Showcat,

On a downloaded Jira you would require a plugin to do so but that is not available on OnDemand instances. By creating Application Links you may share links and mention one issue in the other but not copy or move issues between the Jira instances.

Thanks for the feedback, When you refer to share a link are you are emailing a URL between instances.

You can have an Issue on one instance linked to an issue on the other instance. It will appear on the Linked issues panel with the title, on the Issue View page.

If one ticket gets resolved, it will show crossed out on the other instance.

No emails are sent between instances and the issues are not really copied or syncrhonized, just linked together like you do with Confluence and Jira.
