I'm synchronizing 2 instances of jira. I've already synced teh HOME Directory, which works fine (all attachments and plugins get transfered to the other JIRA instance). However when i try syncing the Databases and start JIRA, it starts off as a new installation. Why arent the issues getting transferred, I checked the databases and they match exactly..

Synchronizing JIRA Databases

Remove shared components from project

We have two projects that were created using the "Create with shared configuration" option, however, some of the shared components are causing reporting conflicts for our users. We would like to convert the shared components to individual project components without having to recreate the projects. Is this possible?

I realized that DB Team had synced the wrong user names :P

Hi Dieter,

I use Oracle 11g. I synced the databases using Navicat for Oracle.

What database do you use? How do you synchronize the databases?
