Hello
I'm coming to you because we need your help: we have migrated our servers to the cloud (jira server, confluence). For confluence everything went well, but for jira it's more complicated:
- we migrated first to confluence and then jira.
- For some users everything went well, their issues were well assigned to their new user on jira cloud
-For others it's a real disaster: it's possible to find their issues by doing a search with their username but they are not associated with the user on jira cloud. So link is not done for the assignee, reporters, comments, filters, etc..

We have created a script to try to solve this by API, it works (we search by username, and associate the new user) but it only covers a small part of the problems, comments, for example, are not covered, the projects permissions, filters, etc....

Is there a way to mass-associate all objects belonging to an old username with a user?

The sites are already in production, and users (who can) have already started working.

Thanks in advance for your help

Hi Srinivasan,

1. Login to JIRA as administrator and go to Administration -> Workflows

2. Click on Add Workflow

3. By Default you will see step named "Open". Click on "Edit" and you will have the options to change this.

Cheers

Bhushan
