Hi There,

I have the same issue in Confluence 5.7. I dug a little deeper. The conflict for us is HTTPS vs HTTP. The following error was logged:

Mixed Content: The page at 'https://wiki/spaces/hipchat2.action?key=SPACE#' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure XMLHttpRequest endpoint 'http://wiki/rest/hipchat/integration/latest/oauth2/begin'. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.

This seems like something to ask support about directly.
