My company uses Jira v8.20.1. I think its Jira Server.
I have been given a task to which would need me to work with the REST API's of Jira.
But I cannot install any kind of trial version to play around on my pc. I cant experiment on my companies Jira website due to obvious reasons (Or does JIRA perhaps provide a mode where whatever changes I make are not reflected on the companies website?
I am confused as to where can one experiment before I go ahead and implement something on my companies account.
This problem come from One note.
The compatibility improvement can be followed here :https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-60999
It's not clear to me why this is marked as "solved". JRA-60999 is still unassigned and open. I still cannot paste simple text from OneNote.

It's because the problem is logged with Jira development, so there's no real need to discuss it more here.
(Although, to be fair, most of the problem is that when you copy from OneNote, it puts a lot of extraneous crud into the data, so it might be worth asking them to stop doing that as well)

Microsoft feels differently: "OneNote writes more than 10 different formats after a Copy to the clipboard. One of them is the Text format. It's the job of the pasting application to select the format for pasting or to present a choice to the user (something like Paste Special).
So you should complain to Jira."
