How to show the child Issues in the Detail view of a board ?

We are using the Portfolio for Jira and the THEME issue type that is a Parent for all of the related Epics. If we open the THEME in a separate browser tab there are listed all of his child issues (list of all EPICS) but these child issues ar not shown in the Detail view when clicking on the THEME within the Kanban or Scrum board.

We tried to configure the Issue Detail view from the Board settings by adding the Child Issue field but it is not listed in any of the available drop downs.

Please advise on this topic.

You can change your password to 'sphere' by running the following directly into your JIRA database

update cwd_user set credential='uQieO/1CGMUIXXftw3ynrsaYLShI+GTcPS4LdUGWbIusFvHPfUzD7CZvms6yMMvA8I7FViHVEqr6Mj4pCLKAFQ==' where user_name='XXXX';

Please remember to change XXXX to your user name.
