Does JIRA support any way to view a PDF file within a dashboard?

Different Default Custom Field Values for each Issue Type (within a Project)

Simple request:

Within a project, I have custom fields. I would like to have default values for some of those which will differ depending on issue type selected.

So far I can't find any way to achieve this.

I've looked at field contexts and field schemes, and field configuration schemes, and neither of those seem capable of handling this requirement.

I ended up enabling the text gadget which allows for HTML and used it to display an image created from the PDF.

No. Not that I know off. Did you Google any add on's that does that?

I did look and didn't find anything, so I figured i'd at least ask here to see if I missed anything.

The other option is displaying an Excel spreadsheet formatted as a Calendar which I also don't think JIRA can do.

I guess, what about just displaying an image in a dashboard?
