Hey at Atlassian!
Hope you and your famlies are ok!
Got a weired request.
We will move old issues from a lot of old project to our actual service desk (same installation, no prob so far).
We urgently need to change the issues author prio doing this.
In former, not our customers but our agents created the issues in several projects. From now on, customers create their own issues. We need to determine WHO has created issues to find them later.
Can you help?
Kind regards
patrick
You'll need to do a lot of work to do this.
First, all the configuration will have to be done by hand - you'll need to recreate all the schemes and their content in the target JIRA.
Second, you'll need to export the data from 6.2. Then downgrade it to 5.2 in a test system, then export it from test and you can use "project import" to import it from there.
There is nothing that handles a downgrade of JIRA data though, so you're really going to struggle.
No If your versions were similar, then you can use the project configurator or project copy addons on the marketplace. But you've got a downgrade to do, adn there's nothing that can help you wiht that.

Ouch. I think you'd need to tell Botron directly.
