Can we use one email handler for multiple projects??

We already have multiple email handlers associated to their respective projects. We are having a requirement of having more email handlers in our upcoming projects, But we came across a discussion where it says if we have multiple email handlers will slow down the JIRA. So is there a way where we can use one email handler to multiple projects.

Hi Jeff,

You have to mannualy create "jiraconnectuser" and grant the necessary create issue permission to this account. Looks like JMC do not provision the needed account.

This answer is right. Maybe I missed it, but it appeared as if the account should be automatically provisioned based on the tutorial video. And that it would be a waste of a user account to create it manually. Thanks!
