HI

I am currently trialling JIRA and I think it's great, however we have been working for several years with Activecollab and have all our current and historical project data stored in it.

I notice there is no direct migration tool for activecollab and was wondering if anyone has found a workaround or performed a migration?

Also the JIRA trial that I am using seems painfully slow. Is that because I am on the trial version?

Thanks

Mark

Hmm, reckon you might need to install the UPM manually; could be a problem of installing the plugin update via JIRA internally. Try the following:

  1. Shutdown JIRA
  2. Clean the following:
    1. $JIRA_HOME/plugins/.osgi-plugins
    2. $JIRA_HOME/plugins/.bundled-plugins
    3. $JIRA_HOME/caches/indexes
    4. $JIRA_INSTALL/work
  3. Delete the UPM plugin that was downloaded from the $JIRA_HOME/plugins/installed-plugins
  4. Download plugin from Marketplace.
  5. Place the downloaded plugin from step 4 into the directory mentioned in step 3.
  6. Restart JIRA.
  7. Reindex JIRA (Administration > System > Advanced > Indexing)

I reckon the plugin cache might be screwed up, so try cleaning this up and see what happens.

After this, update the JIRA Timesheet Reports and Gadget plugin (if you haven't already).

Hi Paul,

Which version of JIRA are you running? Have you tried to restart your application? Would it be possible to uninstall the plugin and reinstall it? Did you upgrade the JIRA Timesheet Reports and Gadgets too, ot just the Universal Plugin Manager?

Cheers,

Clarissa.
