Invalid Date Format

Hi,

When a customer attempts to create an issue which has a Date Picker custom field and enters a date in a format that is unrecognized, JIRA will throw an error and prevent the issue from being created.

Yes, with code. Sort of.

You don't "change the path" really - you set up all the possible transitions. Then you need to find/write conditions that block the transitions that are not appropriate according to your rules.
