In the old view, the work log can be viewed and edited by opening the "Work log" tab on the bottom of the view. Is there a way to view this log with the new issue view?
Futher investigation shows that this issue only happens when I am trying to save a mockup that has incorporates a fairly large color image. I have temporarily worked around the issue by enabling "stetch" mode for the image and thus reducing the size of the rendered preview image that is posted to the API call.
This is still an issue but there is a workaround.
