How to delete a completed sprint without any issues in it?

Berend Kapelle

Hi everybody!

During some migrations I created some sprints, put a ticket in the first one, and then started and closed them all (6 in total) one by one.

I dont need them now anymore, because creating them was not necessary at all.

But I can not figure out how to delete those. I can not delete them, because they are not open. I can not reopen them, because there are no issues in them. I can not put issues into that sprint, because they are already completed.

Thanks in advance,

Berend

Hello Ankur,

This is a known behaviour. JIRA needs to use the Configured Base URL to avoid breaking some features. There is an improvement at https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-32743 that you can watch as it's related to this.

While this is technically logged as an 'Improvement', I beleive JRA-32743 is more of an intropsective question for Atlassian. "Is there a reason why we are not ... ?"

Having this issue with a Cisco ASA as well. Did you find a solution?
I'd look at JRA-32743, but Atlassians Jira is offline (again).
