How to I permanently revert to the old view in Jira?

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!

How can I permanently turn off the "new" view in Jira?  There is a link in the top right which says "See the old view" however it only works for the issue I'm working on.  The new view has nothing of value, there are way too many usability issues and it makes simple tasks more complicated.  Everyone I work with hates it so I'm hoping we're not the only ones and Atlasssian will listen to our feedback.

JIRA can create issue and comments from emails. Please read through this documentation to help you configure mail handlers: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/creating-issues-and-comments-from-email-779288896.html
