I wasted quite a bit of time trying to guess formatting.

Thanks for the link to the code, it shows that no other keywords exists that can be invoked and that the message is also HTML escaped so no formatting is possible. Not even things like bold or italic.

Overall, not impressed. The fancy new plugin is even worse as you cannot add a JQL filter to prevent sensitive issues from being rendered. Also no message customization possible in the new plugin.
