How can I add a custom field (time in status)?

 Good afternoon community I have some doubt I'm not sure how I can add a time field, because it doesn't appear to me as a time type.

I have thousands of attachments on my JIRA system but I don't think it affects JIRA at all. You can say the same with system performance too.

In addition, your best way to handle this is to assess on what you have:

• How much attachments are being added to my file system?
• What is the average size of attachments being upload?
• What is my current server capacity?

Base on this, I think you can assess how much growth and till when will your system cope up with the growth. This is just for the size itself not performance,
