Free development instance for JIRA

Does anyone know if the free development instance (cloud version) allow you to replicate your existing cloud production site? Or do you have to create your production site frome scratch under your development site ?

Please advise...

1. Go to Issue Navigator and write JQL to retrieve the projects of your interest
2. Take a dump in excel
3. The excel will contain the fields like Assignee and Time Spent
4. Generate pivots on that data
