Custom reporting Jira Service desk

Hi,

Is it possible to have the selection of a specific begin and start date for you custom reports. At this moment I only have:

• past 48 hrs
• past 7 days 
• past 30 days
• past quarter by day
• past quarter by week
• Past year by week

I'm looking for the possibility to select a specific quarter (Q4 2017)

Unfortunately, no, it isn't possible to do via configuration in jira. However...

I was able to come up with a hack to solve this by creating a plugin and modifying the logwork.jsp file to add new fields.I used the Servlet-Filter Plugin module to grab the new parameters from the request, then basically I wrote them to a database...not the JIRA one though.

Did you come up with a solution?
