Hi All,

Followed all the procedures needed for the JIRA local installation start up, however at the time of "Setup Administrator Account" experiencing the below error.

"Cannot add user, all the user directories are read-only."

1. Used mysql JDBC driver 5.1.48

2. Restarted the JIRA server

Highly appreciated, if I can get the resolution for this issue.

Try using the Issue Alternative Assignee plugin which has a User Picker from Project Role field.

See https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.iamhuy.jira.plugin.issue-alternative-assignee
