More licenses after Febr 2021?

Hello,

 

We are having JIRA Server with 500 licenses and plan to migrate in 1 or 2 years.

In case we want to move to 2'000 licenses before, will it be possible?

The message is not clear. We can't purchase new licenses. But can we extend existing ones?

Hi @Cyril Peralez,

You will still be able to upgrade from 500 to 2.000 users until February 2nd, 2022. As of February 2nd, 2021 it will just no longer be possible to buy a brand new Jira Server license.

From the future server pricing faq :

Effective February 2, 2022 PT, you will not be able to upgrade or downgrade user tiers for your server licenses (Commercial, Academic, Community, or Open Source).

  • If you need to upgrade your user tier on or after February 2, 2022 PT, we recommend you migrate to our cloud or Data Center products. 
  • Exception: You will still be able to upgrade or downgrade user tiers for Fisheye and Crucible. You will still be able to upgrade or downgrade Bamboo Server until further notice.
