Hi,
I am setting up a jira to slack integration.
I want a slack message to be triggered only once per issue, the first time a specific condition is met.
I don't want any further updates to be sent to slack.
Can you please advise?
Thank you,
Renata
Hi Renata - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
I don't think you can do that out of the box - you can't say only send the first time the issue is updated.
The only thing I can think of as a work around would be to populate a custom field with Automation for Jira or ScriptRunner when the field is updated. Then in your filter for Slack check to make sure that field is empty. But the Slack message would need to be sent first.
The other option might be to have Automation For Jira send the Slack message.
