Jira Bug Posting

Hi all,

In our organization we are using Jira for bug tracking. For that we select the issue type as bug and attach the word document by adding all bugs on them,

But there is no way to mark the bugs severity and priority. there is only field called priority. as common.

Can you please assist on this. My Requirement is to mark severity and priority of bugs

Hi @Mihiri Wijerathna ,

You can ask your jira admin to create a "Severity" field of Select list type. You can provide values like Sev1, Sev2, Sev3 . In that way, bugs can have priority and severity.
