Is Jira capable of tracking a monetary value against a project / task? ie: budget functionality

Is Jira capable of tracking a monetary value against a project / task? ie: budget functionality

We cannot find this anywhere in Jira core, without using a plug in, is that still the case?

Jira does not do this natively, so you'll need an app to do it.  I'd recommend a look at - there are quite a few apps that add the functionality to Jira.

I have used a few of these, mostly as an end-user though (a developer and a Jira admin, not the person actually worrying about the money), and found them to be very different.  The one that worked best for the people I was working with when it came up was Tempo Budgets (which has the advantage of working really well with Tempo products they were already using)

Hi, @LaraClaire_Braham yes, you need some plugin for that.

Probably this plug could help you somehow it is for invoicing, not budgeting, but you could create invoices with specific time filters to see the monthly/total expenses.
