Importing the data from CSV (CSV formed by exporting the data from other project)

Edited

While Importing the data from CSV From Classic to Next Gen (CSV formed by exporting the data from other project) the below issues are being observed.

Epics is getting imported as user stories even though the issue type has been mapped correctly from epic to epic

Sub task is not getting migrated.

However, the same is working fine if I am trying to import the same from classic to classic project . M i missing something??

Would really appreciate some urgent help!

Hello @Rohit_Jindal ,

To move data between Next-Gen and a Classic Project you will want to use the Bulk move operations not the CSV export and import from the source project to the destination project as there are going to be conflicts in the field types.

The process is detailed in the following Knowledge Base article:

Regards,
Earl
