How to hide epic from customer

Customer can look into our Jira. Now we want to creat an Epic for stories related to internal tasks we need to work on for this project. How can I make sure, the customer will not look into our internal Epic - or even better: how can we hide the Epic from him, so he doesn't even know we have created such an internal epic?

You should be utilizing the issue-level security option:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/configuring-issue-level-security-776636711.html

Basically, you'll create two roles in the project. One role will be the customer and the other internal users. Following the guide, you'll set it up so the epic only appear to the internal user role. I am, however, not sure if the epic will be completely invisible or if it would still appear to the customer with a name in the epic section. If the later is the case (that the customer would see the epic name), then this would be the only thing the customer would see. Clicking on the name or opening the epic would give the "you're not allowed to view this jira" error.
