How to add more features to the project

Yaroslav Vavrysh August 13, 2019

I created a project a while ago and not noticed that it have much less possibilities than others.

The main problem is in project settings. It has only Details, People, Issue types and Features. While other projects have much more links. How can I enable missed features?

I think you have created a "next gen" project - these are simplified as Atlassian are rewriting them from the ground up, and there's a lot of stuff not yet re-implemented in them.

You cannot yet flip a project back, you'd need to create a new "classic" project and then bulk-move all the issues into it.

Can you tell more about issues bulk-move?

To use it, you need

  • "bulk edit" global permission
  • "move" in the source project
  • "create" in the target project

To do it

  • Go to "search" and run a simple search for "Project = <source>"
  • Look for "tools" at the top right and select bulk edit
  • Use it, selecting "move" - it will walk you through the process of selecting a target project and making other required changes

Thank you. I did all you pointed out. And now I enjoy new project features.
