How to add a field Effort Variance (%) ?

Hi,

Request your support how to create a field for Effort Variance (%) for Task and Sub-task. This is required for one of the project.

Value of the new field is based on the following calculation.

Effort variance = (Time spent - Original Estimate)/ Original estimate*100. Kindly revert for any clarifications.

Thanks and regards

Nirmalya

I strongly recommend Performance Objectives for Jira plugin to compute various KPIs.

There is a build-in work ratio field, but it doesn't consider subtasks. You can even use it in JQLs like workratio > 100 to find underestimated works. You may create a new custom field plugin by modifying its code.

But I didn't find any workratio field..
