Hi,  Atlassian comunity!

I would really appreciate some help on this issue.

Task.
After incorrect automation, the data was lost in the field. The values were saved in the ticket history, and they were even able to be downloaded from the database. Can I somehow add them back? (values disappeared in approximately 400 tasks)

Any help is important! Thank you!

Hi @Alex

Yes definitively you can try to import back values. If you have values already downloaded from the issue history that is a good start. Now you can try to import them using for example CSV

https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/import-data-from-a-csv-file/

If you look at the above documentation there is a section of "Updating existing issues"

Another option is to create a simple script that with help of REST API would update affected tickets.

No matter which solution it would require some preparation and would be good to test it on a test system first.
