Hi All,

How can we restrict create,edit and transit issue permission for only one issue type fro any group or project role.

Thank you for reaching out.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to set project permissions (Create issues, edit issues, etc.) per issue types. We have already requested this ability with our development team before, however, they decided not to implement it since it would add more complexity and backload to the application:

 Provide the ability for permission schemes to be configured per issue type 

That being said, you can use one of the following options to achieve your need:

1 - Use each issue type in different projects, configuring the permissions as you need

2 - use security levels to hide your issues based on issue-type, as displayed in the KB below:
