I'm looking for ways to assign working hours to individual members of my teams - these working hours should represent their capacity. Likewise, absences should also be able to affect the capacity of an individual.
So, for example, if someone works 40 hours in a week, then their capacity would be 40. From here, I'd like team members to be able to estimate/assign their hours for the week ahead based on tasks within their backlog. I know that the sprint option is available, but would this work for this type of scenario?
I'm still very new to Jira and I'm trying to use it more as a PMO rather than Software planning, so any help navigating this would be really appreciated!
You would need an addon for this. While I do not use it, Tempo Timesheets and Planner seems to be popular addons.
