Filtering jql query on issues date.

I have this jql:

"jql":"assignee in membersOf('HR') OR assignee in membersOf('DEV') OR assignee in membersOf('FINANCE') AND created >= '2020-11-25 00:00' AND created < '2020-11-26 00:00' ORDER BY created DESC"

but this returns all the issues on all the dates not only the ones created between 2020-11-25 00:00 and 2020-11-26 00:00.

any ideas?

Hi @Jawad Zakhour

Try this instead:

(assignee in membersOf('HR') OR assignee in membersOf('DEV') OR assignee in membersOf('FINANCE')) AND created >= '2020-11-25 00:00' AND created < '2020-11-26 00:00' ORDER BY created DESC

The 'OR' means it is currently looking for anything assigned to HR or DEV from any time or anything assigned to FINANCE created between 25 and 26.  Using the brackets will put it together correctly

Yes exactly That worked perfectly.

I just found out that I need to add a date for every assignee in membersOf()...
so I added 3 filters on date.

But this is much cleaner!

Thank you a lot.
