External CMDB to Jira Core

Hello everybody,

Is it possible to connect an external CMDB to Jira Core? Ideally with an API interface between both?

I'm looking for a CMDB asset management tool to managed CI's like Insight but we do not use JSM.

  • What experience have you had or which product can be recommended?

Hey @DG ,

 

I'm the solution engineer at Elements and our app Elements Connect allows you to fetch the data from an external CMDB inside JWM. 

 

Can you explain what do you mean by an API interface ? What kind of API and how ?

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by this question.

 

In the meantime, I invite you to take a look at how our app works with API.
