Errors when using Agile Wallboard Gadget and Card Colors

When using the Agile Wallboard Gadget and it is connected with a board that uses card colours, the content of the board gets loaded except for the card colors and additionally I am getting an error message "Strategy not supported by the issue index"

When removing the card colours, the error message disappears and everything works fine.

Was anybody experiencing similar issues and was able to solve them? I still want to use the card colours.

Found that on our Jira server, this was caused by Jira bug - JRASERVER-69372 which is fixed in 8.13.2.

This is caused by configuring a JQL Query in the card color configuration.  Verify with:

  1. Go to a board, then click Board > Configure;
  2. Click Card Colors;
  3. Check if the card colors are based on a JQL Query;
  4. If so, please attempt selecting any other methods (i.e. Assignee);
  5. Verify if the problem ceases to affect you;

Hey Bob,

thanks for your reply and hint. We are using JQL-Queries but in our case I do not see a way of not using them, as the other color options are not sufficient.

But again thanks for your hint!

I also noticed this after upgrading from Jira 7

Any chance we can escalate/file this as a bug with Atlassian?

I only get the error using MS Edge browser. No error if I use Firefox.

I also get this error when using Firefox.

We have the same issue with DC License
