Does Jira Core support swimlanes?

Follow this link
I found it supports.

But in my case, Jira Core doesn't have a setting option like "Board / Settings / Swimlines". In fact, even the "Board / Settings" option is unavailable ...

Indeed, you found the correct support

Unfortunately, the functionality you're looking for (Swimlanes) is available for the Agile and Kanban boards, which are specific of the Jira Software Product.

Hence no, you won't be able to use Swimlanes in a Jira Core project.

Keep me informed if it helped or not,

Guilhem Dupuy

I am sometimes confused reading Atlassian Help as it is not always clear if any functionality belongs to a particular product.
Your answer made it clear - thanks.

I am looking for a way to group tasks on the board into weekly fragments (like epic in Jira Software; the creation date is the key).
Do you have an idea to do this in Jira Core?
A roadmap would be very helpful but it's also not available in JC.

The business board you are currently using is a very limited feature.

You should use Jira Software if you're planning to set your boards using more advanced settings
