Clone, duplicate or link?

Example: if I cone/copy an issue to another board, and then a team member moves the issue to Done, then I want the original issue in my board to be moved to Done in my board as well. Is that even possible?

This is not possible out of the box with JIRA. There are several plugins that can help you accomplish this through the use of a post function.
