Updating URLs is available for sites that have at least one Jira or Confluence product with a Standard, Premium, or Enterprise plan. You are unable to update the URL if the site has only Jira Free and Confluence Free.

You will need to change your DNS so that it resolves the new url to the server first, then change the baseurl as mentioned here.

Ah, actually, you can now. But not yourself, you have to raise a request with Atlassian and they will change your url. Choose carefully, they will not do it regularly, it's a one-off.

That has nothing to do with this question, and is incorrect, as you can have more than one org, and yes, you rightly can't delete an account that is the owner of an org.
