Hi!
We have 2 Active Directories (AD) connected to our Jira and Confluence.
Each employee has 1 profile in AD 1 and 1 profile in AD 2.
Jira and Confluence are using profiles and groups from AD 1. All access rights (project roles) configured to profiles and groups in AD 1.
We want to start using profiles and groups from AD 2. We need to copy all project roles from one profile or group to another profile or group. How can we bulk copy access rights (project roles) from profile or group in AD 1 to profile or group in AD 2 in Jira?
We have over 500 employees who need to start using existing profiles from AD2. All 500 employees has profiles in AD 1 and AD 2. We cannot copy project roles manually.
In AD 2 we will create groups similar to AD 1. Also we need to completely copy the project roles of one group from directory 1 to a similar group in directory 2.
For Confluence, we found a plugin Space Admin for Confluence (Decadis AG) that allows us to completely copy access rights (space permissions) from one profile to another and from one group to another.
Do you have a similar tool or other way to bulk copy Jira permissions from one account to another and from one group to another?
I would be very grateful if you would give me advice.
Thank you!
