When I go to a Backlog view and select Epics, none appear. The Issues within the Backlog clearly are associated with Epics, but none appear on that tab.
If I go to a different Board within the same project and select Backlog/Epics, the Epics do appear there.
It appears that there is some characteristic of this Board which prevents the display of Epics.
@john_trasler I suspect that your board filter might have epics excluded from the query.
Can you navigate to Board settings -> general and check if your board filter has Epics included in it?

We have a similar issue with the Backlog, where any issues with an epic get omitted from the backlog, but they do appear in the Active sprint view.

We are facing the same issue, no 'Epics' are displayed under 'Backlog'. Great if we can get an answer - thanks.
