Hi All

I want to automatically populate the Due Date field directly from the original estimate.

Say, if original estimate is 5 days, then due date should be set to current date + 5 days.

Isit possible to configure something like this?

We have recently published a kb article to add Orginal estimate to a date field using Automation for Jira. Hope this helps :)

Here're some ideas:

  • write a scripted post-function (JJUpin or Script Runner) that updates the issue 
  • write a scripted issue Listener that does this - again using one of the scripting add-ons
